The 3rd International Photo Salon, hosted in Kyiv, announced its prestigious photography competition titled “Panorama of My Country.” The salon called for photographers worldwide to submit works that capture the true essence of their homeland: its people, landscapes, history, architecture, significant events, traditions, and ethnography.

This open international competition focused on the diversity of cultural identity through two distinct categories.

Competition Categories & Technical Requirements

The salon accepted entries in two main sections, emphasizing both specialized and traditional formats:

  • A. Panorama Format:
    • Aspect Ratio: Ranging from 1:2 to 1:7.
    • Dimensions: The shorter side must be at least 30 cm.
  • B. Traditional Format:
    • Aspect Ratio: Typically 2:3 (30×45 cm and 40×60 cm).
    • Dimensions: Other sizes were accepted provided the shorter side was at least 30 cm and the longer side did not exceed 60 cm.

Photographers were permitted to submit a maximum of five photographs per section.
