Honor 6+ cellphone with bionic eagle lenses
The Honor 6+ combines a powerful Kirin 925 processor, 3 GB RAM, dual-SIM connectivity and a unique dual-camera system with bionic eagle-eye lenses. Its 3600 mAh battery provides up to two days of use, while the 5.5-inch display and 32 GB storage complete the feature set.
The Honor flagship smartphone has arrived in Hungary. The manufacturer introduced the device in China at the end of the previous year. In many respects, the Honor 6+ offers more powerful hardware than competing premium smartphones, while its price is considerably more affordable.
Honor is also launching its flagship smartphone in Hungary. The Honor 6+ features a 5.5-inch display and is powered by an eight-plus-one-core Kirin 925 processor. Its 3 GB of RAM ensures smooth application performance, while the 32 GB of internal storage provides sufficient capacity for most users. The device can also operate for up to two days on a single charge, while its durable body houses a special camera system.

The Eagle-Eye Camera and What Lies Behind It
The Honor 6+ is the manufacturer’s first smartphone to integrate two cameras positioned parallel to one another. The 2×8-megapixel “bionic eagle-eye” camera system captures images from two different perspectives and with different focal lengths, combining the information into a 13-megapixel photograph. It can achieve focusing speeds of up to 0.1 seconds and offers an f/0.95 aperture.
This makes it possible to capture images extremely quickly without missing important moments. At the heart of the camera software is the proprietary 3IE image-processing algorithm, which enables more detailed and richer photographs. The Honor 6+ also supports post-capture refocusing, allowing users to change the focus point of their photographs after taking the picture.
Simply Much Faster
The heart of the Honor 6+ is the Kirin 925 chipset, which incorporates Smart GTS (Global Task Scheduling) technology and an i3 sensor hub responsible for integrating data from the various sensors.
Its architecture consists of eight application processor cores and one intelligent micro-core, with an operating frequency of up to 1.8 GHz. The device can balance the demands of high-performance applications with extremely low power consumption in standby mode.
Featuring an eMMC 5.0 interface, the Honor 6+ comes with 3 GB of high-speed memory and 32 GB of built-in storage, with additional capacity available through a microSD card.
Multi-Day Battery Life
The 3600 mAh high-density battery, with a density of 595 Wh/l, is managed by Smart Power 2.5 technology, which can save up to 30 percent of energy during operation. This allows the device to achieve up to two days of battery life without recharging under average usage conditions.
The Honor 6+ thermal management system makes extensive use of a graphite layer covering a total area of 138.2 square centimeters, helping the device remain cool during operation.
With its dual-SIM design and dual-standby technology, the smartphone can connect to two independent mobile networks simultaneously. This is complemented by dual-4G capability and reverse charging, which allows the Honor 6+ to charge other devices as well.
Price and Availability
The Honor 6+ was priced at HUF 138,900 gross in Hungary. The device was available from E-digital and Speedshop.
