Escher K\u00e1rolyr\u00f3l besz\u00e9l\u00fcnk. Fot\u00f3riporteri p\u00e1ly\u00e1ja 1928-ban indult, \u00e9s az egyik legt\u00f6bbet foglalkoztatott k\u00e9ptud\u00f3s\u00edt\u00f3 volt \u00e9vtizedeken kereszt\u00fcl. T\u00f6bb ezer felv\u00e9tele jelent meg k\u00fcl\u00f6nb\u00f6z\u0151 lapokban \u2013 \u00e9s t\u00f6bb t\u00edzezer nem jelent meg.<\/p>\n<p>Tavaly volt sz\u00fclet\u00e9s\u00e9nek 120. \u00e9vfordul\u00f3ja; ebb\u0151l az alkalomb\u00f3l h\u00e1rom t\u00e1rlat igyekezett felh\u00edvni a figyelmet \u00e9let\u00fatj\u00e1nak saj\u00e1toss\u00e1gaira \u00e9s az \u00e9letm\u0171 kvalit\u00e1saira A ki\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1sok anyag\u00e1t a rendez\u0151k  \u00f6sszehangolt\u00e1k, \u00edgy az ism\u00e9tl\u00e9sek n\u00e9lk\u00fcli tematikus t\u00e1rlatok sz\u00e9lesebb megk\u00f6zel\u00edt\u00e9sben mutattak be r\u00e9szleteket munk\u00e1ss\u00e1g\u00e1b\u00f3l.<\/p>\n<p>A jelen v\u00e1logat\u00e1s a hazai politikai \u00e9let eddig d\u00f6nt\u0151 m\u00e9rt\u00e9kben ismeretlen Escher-felv\u00e9telekb\u0151l ny\u00fajt \u00edzel\u00edt\u0151t. \u201eSoha semmilyen politikai p\u00e1rtnak tagja nem voltam&#8221; \u2013 \u00edrta visszaeml\u00e9kez\u00e9s\u00e9ben a riporter 1952-ben (!), s ez megfelel a val\u00f3s\u00e1gnak. \u0150 \u201ecsak&#8221; jelen volt a politika hull\u00e1mz\u00f3 viszonyai k\u00f6z\u00f6tt, s tette a dolg\u00e1t: bemutatta az esem\u00e9nyeket. Ez a t\u00e1rlat a negat\u00edv\u00f6r\u00f6ks\u00e9g megment\u00e9s\u00e9nek, feldolgoz\u00e1s\u00e1nak jelenlegi \u00e1llapot\u00e1t t\u00fckr\u00f6zi: a k\u00e9pek csak p\u00e1r \u00e9v \u2013 de t\u00f6rt\u00e9nelmileg milyen kritikus id\u0151k \u2013 eml\u00e9keib\u0151l adnak vizu\u00e1lis eml\u00e9keket. \u00c1m ebb\u0151l is meg\u00edt\u00e9lhet\u0151, hogy Escher K\u00e1roly \u2013 noha az \u00e1ltala befutott p\u00e1lya ismeretlenebb \u2013 hasonl\u00f3an jelent\u0151s munk\u00e1ss\u00e1got folytatott, mint azon vil\u00e1gh\u00edr\u0171v\u00e9 v\u00e1lt kort\u00e1rsai, akik k\u00fclf\u00f6ldre mentek.<\/p>\n<p>A teljes Escher anyag felt\u00e1r\u00e1sa \u2013 estenk\u00e9nt fizikai megment\u00e9se\u2013  m\u00e9g a j\u00f6v\u0151 feladata. Aligha ig\u00e9nyel bizonygat\u00e1st, hogy mai t\u00e1rsadalmi, gazdas\u00e1gi viszonyok k\u00f6zepette ez nehezebb az \u00e1tlagosn\u00e1l. Ugyanakkor: elegend\u0151 pl. a Teleki-temet\u00e9s k\u00e9t k\u00e9p\u00e9nek alaposabb megtekint\u00e9se, hogy l\u00e1thassuk: m\u00faltunk m\u00e9lyebb, differenci\u00e1ltabb megismer\u00e9se a t\u00e9t. Az Escher \u00e9letm\u0171 kutat\u00f3i ehhez v\u00e1rnak seg\u00edts\u00e9get, ez\u00e9rt ez a ki\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1s egy fontos \u00e1llom\u00e1s ebben a folyamatban.<\/p>\n<p>A k\u00e9pek egyszer\u0171en nem \u00e1llj\u00e1k m\u00e1r ki az id\u0151 pr\u00f3b\u00e1j\u00e1t a k\u00e9sz\u00edt\u00e9s\u00fck technol\u00f3gi\u00e1ja miatt. Cellu\u00f3z-nitr\u00e1t film ugyanis az alapanyaguk, ami akkor egy elterjedt form\u00e1tum volt, viszont term\u00e9szet\u00e9b\u0151l ad\u00f3d\u00f3an folyamatosan bomlik. Ezt meg\u00e1ll\u00edtani sajnos nem lehet, csak lass\u00edtani. Az OSZK F\u00e9nyk\u00e9p- \u00e9s Fot\u00f3m\u0171v\u00e9szeti t\u00e1r\u00e1ban dolgoznak a kb. 30.000, nagyr\u00e9szt m\u00e9g publik\u00e1latlan k\u00e9p megment\u00e9s\u00e9n. Erre k\u00e9t lehet\u0151s\u00e9g k\u00edn\u00e1lkozik: a kontaktm\u00e1sol\u00e1s \u00e9s a digitaliz\u00e1l\u00e1s. Mindk\u00e9t elj\u00e1r\u00e1s dr\u00e1ga, de a kontaktm\u00e1sol\u00e1s id\u0151t\u00e1ll\u00f3bb, ez\u00e9rt az OSZK-ban (a k\u00e9pek rendszerez\u00e9s\u00e9vel egybek\u00f6tve) ezt alkalmazz\u00e1k.
